На консультації він детально розпитав про мої скарги, потім призначив діагностичні дослідження, після отримання результатів розробив план лікування, зробив операцію і вже за тиждень мої ніжки стали почуватися набагато краще. Doc. Dr. Arnaz is absolutely one of the best Cardiologist in the entire world!!! He performed my daughter's TGA in April of 2020, on her 11th day of birth. Even with the pandemic rampant, Dr. Arnaz took the best care of her and made sure everything went smoothly. I must have asked him 1000 questions, to which he always had a response and reassured me every time. We are safely back in the United States now. But, we will always remember Istanbul and Dr. Arnaz. I am a 35-year-old married man with a beautiful seven-year-old daughter and another baby on the way. My wife and I were fully focused on making sure everything was ready for the arrival of our second child. However, during a visit to the cardiologist a few months before the birth, I was diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve and a 5cm ascending aortic aneurysm. The doctor who made the initial diagnosis noted that my aneurysm is considered a life-threatening medical condition that could rupture or dissect at any moment. She recommended that I speak to a surgeon and referred me to Dr. Arnaz to discuss my surgery options. During my initial meeting with Dr. Arnaz, he clearly explained my medical condition and the type of surgical intervention he deemed best to carry out. The surgical approach he saw as my best option was called a David Procedure – a surgical procedure whereby my aneurysm would be repaired while my bicuspid valve would be preserved. Despite this being a complex surgery, Dr. Arnaz assured me that the success chances were high and that it was highly likely that the surgery was going to be a minimally invasive one. His vast knowledge coupled with his confidence and willingness to answer any question I had made me feel extremely relieved. I was scheduled for surgery on 17 May. The day before the surgery, Dr. Arnaz visited me in my room and answered any questions I had. The surgery itself – despite its complexity – was a resounding success. Everything went according to the plan. The fact that it was done the minimally invasive way saved me a lot of recovery time and pain. I was able to walk and move around with limited pain right after the surgery. During my time at the hospital, Dr. Arnaz came to check on me every morning and listened carefully to any questions or concerns that I had. There was even one time when I asked to speak to Dr. Arnaz in the evening and he came to see me despite having spent more than 12 hours in the surgery room. This really showed me the large amount of devotion and dedication Dr. Arnaz has to his patients and the job he does. Before I was discharged from the hospital, Dr. Arnaz called me into his office and explained in details the medical procedure he carried out and answered all outstanding questions I had. The explanation was so thorough and comprehensive. My wife and I were extremely grateful for him for taking time out of his busy schedule to explain how the surgery went at every step. I am now three weeks post-surgery and with every passing day, I feel closer to regaining my pre-surgery stamina and energy levels. Pain is manageable and my movement is gradually going back to normal. I am full of optimism and have a positive outlook on the rest of my life. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Arnaz for the outstanding medical attention he provided me with, as well as his kindness and genuine care. Dr. Ahmet Arnaz for his high professionalism and kindness, for being so dedicated and helpful on simultaneous endovascular repairing of both aneurysms of my husband – one in the abdominal aorta which was 71/69 mm and the other one on the iliac artery 36 mm. As soon as he found out the serious situation, he gave us instructions on how to behave in order to prevent serious problems. We understand that this was a very serious and complicated case but Doc. Dr. Ahmed is world class cardiovascular surgeon and definitely one of the best if not the best surgeon in Turkey.
